Terms

Effective May 13, 2026

These terms apply to Cofound, a networking and MCP product for founders and builders. By creating an account, checking the attestation box, or using a Cofound MCP token, you accept these terms together with the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and Attestation

You may use Cofound only if you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Cofound only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. By accepting these terms, you self-attest that you are at least 13 and that you can agree to them. Do not use Cofound if you are under 13.

Service Availability

Features, matching behavior, messages, MCP tools, integrations, token flows, data models, and availability may change or be discontinued over time. We may limit, suspend, or end access to protect users or the service.

No Professional Advice

Cofound helps with networking, profile sharing, discovery, messaging, and MCP tool access. Cofound output, profile data, matches, messages, recommendations, or other product content are not legal, financial, or investment advice and should not be treated as professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and should consult qualified advisors for legal, financial, investment, tax, fundraising, employment, or business questions.

Account and Token Security

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials and MCP tokens secure. MCP bearer tokens are secrets; treat them like passwords. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or tokens. If you believe your account or token has been compromised, rotate or revoke the token and contact the operator.

Acceptable Use

Do not use Cofound to break the law, violate another person's rights, spam, harass, deceive, impersonate others, scrape or exfiltrate data, upload malware, attack the service, bypass access controls, or submit content you do not have the right to provide. Do not use Cofound to make regulated legal, financial, investment, credit, employment, housing, healthcare, or similar decisions.

User Content and Networking

You keep ownership of profile text, messages, and other content you submit. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, summarize, and use that content to operate, secure, and improve Cofound. Do not submit confidential information, sensitive personal information, or third-party data unless you have the right to share it. Other users and MCP clients may see information you choose to publish, send, or expose through a token. Cofound does not endorse users, opportunities, messages, or matches.

MCP Clients and Integrations

Third-party MCP clients, hosting providers, and integrations may have their own terms and privacy practices. You decide where to configure a Cofound token and are responsible for client-side token handling. Regenerate or revoke a token if you no longer trust where it was used.

Privacy and Operational Data

We may process account data, attestation records, profile data, messages, token metadata, logs, and usage events to provide, secure, debug, and improve Cofound. We may retain records needed for security, abuse prevention, product operation, or legal compliance. Do not submit information you are not comfortable processing through Cofound. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to Terms

If we materially change these terms, we may publish an updated version and require a new attestation before continued use.

Termination

You may stop using Cofound at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe use of the product violates these terms, creates risk, or harms the service or other users.

Disclaimers and Liability

Cofound is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or decisions made from Cofound content.
